Randy Larson, Larson & Evenson Law Firm Attorney and Monica’s owner sadly passed away. Loved ones and friends are shattered and devastated at this time. Joan cause of death has not been officially announced.
The following are statements from University of Iowa Head Men’s Basketball Coach Fran McCaffery and P. Sue Beckwith, MD, Head Women’s Basketball Coach Lisa Bluder on the passing of Randy Larson.
Larson was the founder and director of the summer Prime Time and Game Time leagues in Eastern Iowa and was a longtime supporter of both basketball programs.

“Randy was a great friend of our program and to me from the day I arrived in Iowa City. He was incredibly kind and supportive of our student-athletes, including devoting his heart and soul into the Prime Time League for three decades. Randy was an Iowa City legend and will be dearly missed.”

“Randy was a tremendous supporter of women’s basketball. He included us in the summer league as soon as we arrived on campus. Randy was a fixture at our games and loved supporting our team.”
Funeral arrangements have not been established, if the family wishes we will share them when we can.
