The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the boy who died after a car crash Sunday night as 11-year-old Bertino Baltazar-Martin. The crash occurred on Cedar Lane Road around 10:44 p.m., according to report.
According to troopers, a car was attempting to turn left onto Clark Drive when it was struck by an SUV. Baltazar-Martin, who was in the car’s back seat, was hurt and rushed to the hospital, but died a short time later, according to the coroner.
The SUV’s driver was not injured. The coroner’s office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are still investigating the crash.
