According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, a man died after being shot on Friday morning in Taunton, Massachusetts. The Taunton Police Department responded to report of shooting at Winthrop Street residence at 7:40 a.m. Friday.
When police arrived, they discovered a man with gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of a Jeep. First responders treated the man before transporting him to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead shortly after 9 a.m. at Morton Hospital.
Alvaro J Andrade, 33, of Taunton, was identified as the victim. Taunton police and Massachusetts State Police are conducting an investigation in collaboration with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
