Authorities are investigating after two people died following a murder-suicide in Henderson KY. The shooting happened on Sunday in Springettsbury Township, York County.
The call came in just before 9 a.m., according to dispatch. Officers were called to the 2800 block of Glenn Hollow Drive in response to reports of shots fired. Officers located one deceased female with gunshot wounds and an injured male with a gunshot wound. Brenda Bowersox, 55, of York, was identified as the female. Steve Bowersox, 60, of York, was identified as the male.
Steve was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police concluded this incident was a murder/suicide and there There is no current danger to the public. According to dispatch, Glen Hollow Drive and Druck Valley Road are closed.
