Annabelle Mullican death – Annabelle Mullican died in Mountain Brook accident

Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the child killed in a weekend crash in Mountain Brook as 10-year-old Annabelle Mullican of Mountain Brook. The incident happened in the 3400 block of Cherokee Road, just east of Overbrook Road, at 5:27 p.m. Saturday. Mountain Brook police responded to the scene after they received report of the fatal incident.

According to Police Chief Jaye Loggins, the car was seen speeding at high speeds on Old Leeds Road before turning into Cherokee Road. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered a woman and two little daughters injured. All three were taken to nearby hospitals.

At 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Annabelle was pronounced dead at Children’s of Alabama. The crash remains under investigation.
