Authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex late Sunday night. The shooting occurred at the Citadel Apartments, located near S 86th Parkway and Q Street. Around 8:45 p.m., officers responded to the area after they received report of shooting.
Officers discovered two victims shot in a car at the location, according to Omaha police. Omaha police identified the victim as 28-year-old Luis Romero. According to officials, Luis was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Omaha police, the second victim had been transported to Bergan Mercy in critical condition. The incident is still under investigation.
