Authorities have identified the victim killed following a fatal shooting in Greektown early Sunday morning. The victim was identified as 29-year-old Shamar Powell-Flowers. Shamar. The incident occurred near Danforth and Carlaw avenues about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to the area in response to the shooting. Upon officers arrival, the victim was found suffering from gunshot wound. Shamar was taken to the hospital but died shortly afterwards.
