Jaylen I. Woods, 19 has been identified as one of the teenager killed in a three shootings on Tuesday. The shooting happened Tuesday July 25 2023 in the 1700 block of Edwardsville Road. Officers were called to the area following a shooting report. Upon arrival, Woods was found lying in the backyard of a home around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Major Case Squad are currently investigating the incident.
