The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim killed after shooting in parking deck at Atlanta apartments as 26-year- Morgan Lawrence. The shooting occurred in a parking deck in an apartment complex near Atlantic Station Tuesday night. Officers were called to the scene for a gun-related incident.
Morgan was found with a gunshot wound at the Mark at West Midtown apartment complex on Bishop Street around 7:30 p.m., according to police. The woman was pronounced dead in the parking lot despite efforts to revive her.
Police are searching for the shooter responsible for the shooting death of Morgan. Investigation is actively ongoing.
