Sinéad O’Connor, an Irish singer, has sadly passed away. Sinéad died at the age of 56 leaving family and loved ones devastated. The famed Dublin vocalist released ten studio albums, and her song Nothing Compares 2 U was crowned the Billboard Music Awards’ number one world single in 1990.
Ms O’Connor received the inaugural Classic Irish Album prize at the RTÉ Choice Music Awards earlier this year.
Ms O’Connor is survived by her three children. Her son, Shane, died last year aged 17.
