Authorities are investigating following report of shooting at South Park Mall. The shooting occurred on Thursday in front of Fitness Connection at South Park Mall in the parking lot on the Southwest side. Officers were called to the area in response to the shooting.
Upon arrival, one person was found suffering from gunshot wound. The victim has been transported to the hospital. The circumstances that led to the shooting is unclear at this time. Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
