Wayne Maxner, former GM/Coach has sadly passed away. London Knights shared the news of his death online on Thursday July 27, 2023. “The London Knights are saddened to learn of the passing of former head coach Wayne Maxner. Our thoughts are with Wayne’s family and friends.”
Windsor Spitfires Hockey Club shared on Facebook – “The Windsor Spitfires mourn the passing of former GM/Coach Wayne Maxner. Our thoughts are with Wayne’s family and friends and all of the players he had a privilege coaching and mentoring. Wayne was truly a legend.”
