Authorities identified the woman killed following a car crash in East Providence Saturday night as 33-year-old Kristen Ambra of East Providence. The incident occurred near Pleasant Street and Pawtucket Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. Police and fire crews responded to the scene after they received report of the incident
The car struck a telephone pole and suffered severe damage. According to report, was the only person in the car. For several hours, police taped off the vicinity of the collision. The crash remain under investigation.
