The victim killed after shooting in Little Rock on Saturday was identified as 26-year-old Eligiah Lucas. The incident happened near the intersection of Green Mountain Drive and Rainwood Road. Police responded to the scene for a shooting report. Upon arrival, Lucas was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead on the scene. Officers met with 23-year-old Harris Martin, who was present at the scene, and took him back to Major Crimes for interrogation. Martin submitted a statement after being questioned by police and was released without charges pending review.
After transporting Lucas’ body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy, the Pulaski County Coroner contacted next of kin. According to police, investigation is currently ongoing.
