Michelle Hicks was identified as the victim of an apparent murder-suicide in Chandler, Arizona. Ralph Quezada shot Michelle and then then took his own life.
Jyl Albertson shared a post on Facebook – Devastated and angry is how I’m feeling right now. My dear friend, Michelle Hicks, was murdered by her longtime boyfriend last night. He then took his own life, leaving their son an orphan.
She has been one of the most funny, loyal and amazing friends you could ever have over the last 20+ years. Two weeks ago she was looking into flights for her and Julian to come visit me in GA……. I still can’t believe your gone. I love you, rest in peace Mickey D. Domestic violence is no joke. Please get out before it’s too late.”
Renee Wierz also wrote – “I’m at a complete loss of words right now finding out the loss of a dear close friend Michelle Hicks. We have grown so close and I truly loved her spirit; always smiling, her love for the animals was truly one of a kind. She was so selfishly taken from this world and she was so loved its just unreal. My heart is aching and goes out to her son, mother and family. She’s one of the most amazing people. Always there for others. I just can’t believe this.”
