Police said two people found dead near their home were identified as Randy Baker, 53 years old, and the woman as Tammy Baker, 44 years old, both of McKee, KY. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office called Kentucky State Police about a dead female that had been discovered in front of a house on Cave Springs Road.
According to KSP, an initial investigation showed a husband and wife died from gunshot wounds close to their home. The Jackson County Coroner declared them dead at the scene.
According to the continuing investigation, Tammy Baker died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and at the time, KSP was not actively looking for any suspects.
Jackson County Coroner’s Office, KSP troopers, and detectives arrived to the scene to conduct an investigation.
