Currently multiple emergency personnel’s are on the scene of a active shooter situation at Melbourne mall. The incident occurred August 9, 2023 at Melbourne mall, located at 1700 W New Haven Ave, Melbourne, FL. Authorities are investigating following report of an armed disturbance at the Melbourne Square Mall. The mall has been evacuated.
Further information will be released as the investigation proceeds.” The circumstances leading up to the shooting were not immediately known. There is no word on anyone sustaining injury at this time.
