Police identified the Upstate woman who died Monday following a crash in Spartanburg County as Nancey Maxine Gowan, 67, of Inman. The accident happened at the intersection of Hickory Nut Road and Edwards Road in the Inman community. According to Coroner Rusty Clevenger, Gowan was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead at 12:30 p.m.
Details surrounding the crash have not been released.
