A man has sadly passed away after committing suicide at Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge. The incident occurred August 8, 2023 at Exit 47 on I-95N. Connecticut State Police and NHFD responded to the scene after they received report of the incident. The deceased person jumped from the New Haven Connector Bridge onto the highway below.
The deceased identity has not been revealed at this time. The circumstances that led to the tragic incident is unknown. Investigation into the incident is currently ongoing. This is a breaking news story. Update will be posted as more information becomes available.
