A man who died in a motorcycle crash early Wednesday morning in Arden Arcade has been identified as Bart Hersevoort, 80, of Davis. Hersevoort drove into the center divider of the road around 2:15 a.m. while riding a Harley-Davidson westbound on Arden Way, east of Bell Street, according to California Highway Patrol North Sacramento spokesman Officer Justin Fetterly.
Responding officers arrived at the scene and pronounced deceased there. It was unknown, according to Fetterly, whether Hersevoort had a medical issue before to the crash.
