23-year-old Erik L. Putnam of Nortonville has sadly passed away. Erik died after being involved in Caldwell County accident. According to report, the crash occurred Wednesday on I-69 near the 87 mile marker.
According to the investigation, Erik was operating a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on I-69 when he collided with a freightliner that was parked on the side of the road. According to the Caldwell County Coroner, Putnam passed away in the collision. The crash remains under investigation.
