Alexander Verhoeven of Orangevale has sadly passed away. Alexander died after being ejected from his motorcycle during a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 99. The crash occurred late Thursday near Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of multiple vehicles involved in a crash and stopped on the shoulder, the CHP South Sacramento office said in a news release. Upon arrival, they found the Alexander dead in the roadway.
Verhoeven was flung off his motorcycle when he attempted to change lanes and collided with the rear of an Acura, according to investigators. According to the CHP, he was then hit by other vehicles on the road.
