The Riverside County Coroner has identified the man who died after being hit in Palm Desert on Wednesday as Francisco Rojas, a 48-year-old resident of the city. Officials found Rojas’ body in the eastbound lanes of Country Club Drive near Barington Drive just east of Freedom Park at around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
The accident remains under investigation.
