55-year-old Adam Castro of Lubbock has sadly passed away. Adam died after being involved in a motorcycle crash in Abernathy on Friday. Castro was going north on Interstate Highway 27 in Hale County when he took a “sharp right curve” and drifted out of the travel lane, colliding with a concrete center divider, according to DPS.
According to DPS, Castro was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Castro was not wearing a helmet, according to DPS, and the weather was reported as dry and clear.
