Authorities are investigating after a one person was injured following shooting at Highland Park. Highland Park PD and Highland Park FD responded to the area for a shooting report. The incident happened on Sunday August 13, 2023 at in the 2500 block of Green Bay Road.
According to report, a bicyclist shot a pedestrian on Green Bay Rd. just south of Michigan Ave. and continued southbound on Green Bay Rd.
The victim has been transported to the hospital. The extent of injuries is unknown. There is a heavy police activity ongoing and the roadway is shut down. Investigation is actively ongoing.
