Police identified the victim who died in a deadly overnight shooting in DeKalb County as 45-year-old Charlie Carter. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. Saturday night in the 300 block of Hatton Drive. Multiple law enforcement officers responded to the area for a shooting report.
Responding officers found a man in his 40s’, dead after being shot multiple times. According to report, the victim was not involved in the dispute and he was possibly an innocent bystander.
Investigation is active and ongoing.
