Police identified the victim found fatally shot in a car as 22-year-old Robert Alexander Brown of Bessemer. The incident happened in the 1000 block of Tin Mill Road. According to Birmingham Police, after not hearing from Brown since Saturday afternoon, family members became increasingly concern.
On Sunday morning, Brown’s automobile was discovered by family members in a Tin Mill Road parking lot. When the family member approached the car, they noticed Brown inside with a gunshot wound and dialed 911.
Brown was declared dead when police and Birmingham Fire & Rescue arrived on the scene at 10:07 a.m. Investigation is currently ongoing.
