41-year-old Jeremiah Andrew Helgesen from Fort Wayne has sadly passed away. Jeremiah died following a crash along Wayne Trace. According to report, the incident occurred around 1:45 Friday morning in the 10300 block of Wayne Trace, near Hoffman Road
According to rescue workers, an automobile veered off the road, struck a utility pole, and then rolled, cutting off the power to the neighborhood. At the scene, Jeremiah was declared deceased. An investigation into the accident remains underway.
His death was determined to be an accident, making it Allen County’s 26th fatal motor vehicle accident thus far this year.
