Russell Dale Crawford Shyne, 36 has sadly passed away. Russell died after being fatally shot Saturday, Aug. 26. The incident occurred the 800 block of Francis St.
The Marshall Police Department identified suspect responsible for the shooting as Tramaine Rondell Dunn, 40. Responding officers found Russell suffering from gunshot wound to the stomach. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
Marshall, Tx Police Dept released a statement on Facebook saying – “We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Russell Shyne. Our officers acted swiftly to control the situation, ensuring that no further harm would come to community members,” said Cliff Carruth, Marshall Chief of Police, “I would like to thank the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office for their quick response to assist our officers at the scene and at the hospital.”
Based on evidence gathered at the scene and witness statements, Dunn has been arrested and booked into the Harrison County Jail on charges of Murder. The Marshall Police Department takes the safety of our community seriously and is committed to thorough investigations that bring justice to victims and their families.”
