An investigation is currently underway after two Casper men were found dead after an apparent murder-suicide. The incident happened on Friday in the 4700 block of Boles Road. The victim was identified as 58-year-old Stephen Skaj of Casper and the suspect as 33-year-old Ryan Rosty of Casper. Multiple law enforcement officers responded to the area for shooting report.
Upon arrival, deputies found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. On-site EMS personnel pronounced them dead at the scene. Investigators of the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office discovered through their probe that the gunshot was triggered by a physical fight between Skaj and Rosty. After the altercation, Skaj started to leave Rosty. Rosty then shot Skaj before turning around and shooting himself.
