Allen police are investigating after they found four people dead in their home in an apparent murder-suicide. The tragic incident happened in the 1200 block of Aberdeen Drive at about 8:45 Monday morning. Police were dispatched to the area after receiving a welfare concern call from a family.
Police on Tuesday identified the deceased person as Farman Sherwani, mother Layla Sherwani and sons Mateen Sherwani, 2, and Shaheen Sherwani, 12.
Police spoke with a person who stated that they had been locked out of their home for almost two hours and were unable to get other family members to come to the door.
Police were able to enter the house once additional family members arrived and discovered four persons deceased. The victims have not been identified by police. This is a breaking news story. Update will be posted as more information becomes available.
