Carolyn Goddard has sadly passed away. Carolyn died at age 54 after being involved in a hit and run in Elkhart on Friday. The incident occurred near East Bristol Street and Brookwood Drive Friday night. Carolyn was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police are actively searching for the driver and vehicle involved. The suspect vehicle is possibly a Nissan passenger vehicle that has front end and windshield damage and is missing its front Nissan emblem, police said.
