Hugh Douglas and Christion Files Jr, juniors from Morehouse University passed away in an automobile accident on Labor Day. The sophomore roommates’ automobile exited the road when they were driving it after passing another vehicle on a curve. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the car struck a utility pole, rotated, and struck a second pole, and then overturned.
Hugh and Christion died at the scene of the accident. Douglas was a business administration student and the son of former NFL player Hugh Douglas. He was a Morehouse Business Association member, an AltFinance Fellow, and a Goldman Sachs Fellow. He interned at Ares Management Corporation in Los Angeles this summer.
Christion was a co-captain of the track and field team, media chair for the junior class council, and a member of the Morehouse Business Association.
