Krieg Kjer, a missing Ridgefield, WA man has been found dead. Krieg was found in rural Skamania County in vicinity of Mt St Helen’s. Kjer, 46, was reportedly missing Thursday morning Aug. 24 at about 7 p.m. Initially, Kjer’s van was discovered on 09/02/2023 near the US Forest Service 25 Road by recreationists who recognized the vehicle as belonging to a missing person.
Kjer was not found despite several search efforts by the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office. On 09/04, Kjer’s relatives assisted with the search efforts and found him outside of the original search region. Kjer’s cause of death has not yet been determined, however the manner does not appear suspicious.
