Law enforcement officials and emergency crews are responding to report of an alleged active shooter situation at Hume-Fogg Academic High School. The incident occurred Friday December 2023 at 700 Broadway, Nashville.
According to responding officers, school security did not see anything and schools are currently closed for winter break.
A social media user shared – “We were sitting at the red light when every police car in Nashville started coming up behind us at a school! Hume-Fogg Academic School. Police went in with Guns! I’m just Sick! Pray for the people inside.
Dispatch officials say more details are expected to be released later today.
