Allegheny County Medical Examiner office identified the two brothers who died in Green Tree murder-suicide as as Kristen B Smith Jr., 40, and Kevin Benjamin Smith, 38.
First responders were called to the 200 block of Woodridge Drive around 6 p.m. for a shooting report.
Upon arrival, they found a man who was shot in the chest. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect, a relative of the victim, was still inside the home, officials said. When SWAT responded to the scene, they found the suspect dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Investigators said one of the men was rushed to a hospital where he later died. Police are investigating the incident.
