The victim of the shooting at the Paddock Mall has been identified as 40-year-old David Nathaniel Barron. David died after being shot multiple times in a common area at Paddock Mall in Ocala. According to report, a woman was shot in the leg.
The suspect fled the scene and left behind the firearm, Balken said. Several other shoppers were reportedly injured during the incident, with one reporting chest pain and another reporting a fractured arm, according to authorities.
