41-year-old Derek Calzadillas and 22-year-old Kai O’Connor were identified as people who died following murder suicide inside Chester County home. The tragic incident happened on Tuesday inside an apartment on the 400 block of Hightop Road.
Officers responded to the scene they received a report to check on the welfare of Derek. Officers arrived at the scene and found Kai unresponsive.
He was taken to Chester County Hospital and later pronounced dead. Calzadillas was later discovered dead inside the home’s closet.
According to investigators, firearms do not appear to be involved in this incident. The investigation is ongoing. Our prayers and condolence are with the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
