Elgin County OPP are investigating after two bodies were found in a Central Elgin Township home early Wednesday. Multiple law enforcement officials responded to a home on Roberts Line, east of Quaker Road, at around 8 a.m.
Upon arrival, a man and woman were found dead at the scene.
OPP investigators were at the scene all through the day, including members of the Major Crimes Unit and the forensics team.
The deceased were identified as Kyle Savage and Tanya Wiebe, both in their 30s.
Those close to the investigation said the deaths were the result of an apparent murder/suicide involving a gun. Our prayers and condolence are with the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
