Kirby Lashon Tate, Jr, a resident in Bessemer has sadly passed away. Kirby, A 19-year-old died following a weekend shooting in Bessemer. The incident happened at 12:48 p.m. Saturday outside a home in the 300 block of Norwood Avenue.
Officers were called to the scene for a shooting report, Upon arrival Kirby was pronounced dead on the scene at 1:14 p.m. Bessemer police Det. Justin Burmeister said Monday investigators are following up leads but have not yet made any arrests.
