Jevaughn Oubre has unexpectedly passed away. Jevaughn died as a result of shooting that happened on Michael Delving Road at Perkins Road around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, February 5. Officers responded to the scene after they received report of the shooting incident.
Upon arrival, officers found Jevaughn dead in the road from a gunshot wound to the head. According to report, the victim and the susect were arguing after leaving a convenience store when Richard pulled out a gun and shot Oubre, killing him.
According to report, Traveron Richard, 31 was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on the charges of second-degree murder, and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
