Authorities are investigating after two died in an apparent murder-suicide in Thomaston. Thomaston Police Department were called to the scene in response to shooting at 220 Ave. L. Officers arrived the scene and found a male and female victim laying in the front yard with gun shot wounds.
They were pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities identified the man as Tyler Montfort age 26 from Thomaston and the woman has been identified as Tyquerria Neal, age 24 from Concord, Georgia.
A preliminary investigation indicates that this was a domestic related murder suicide. According to witnesses there was an dispute which led to Tyler shooting Tyquerria Neal.
The investigation is ongoing. Our prayers and condolence are with the family of the deceased during this difficult time.
