Multiple law enforcement officers responded to report of an active shooter situation near Tennessee Tech Tuesday night. The shooting prompted a temporary lockdown at Tennessee Tech Tuesday night, when officials sent alerts to students telling them to stay inside.
According to report, students received an alert that state, “Police responding to (Active Threat) – (7th Street) Evacuate if possible. Barricade and defend if necessary.”
There’s been no word from authorities as of yet about injuries or what exactly happened during this incident.
