Authorities identified the victim of a murder-suicide that took place on Feb. 15. Topeka, Kan. They were identified as 25-year-old Katleynn Herring and 44-year-old Jason Herring. Officers responded to the 2200 BLK of SW Wilmington Ct. in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, Officers found Katleynn and Jason Herring suffering from gunshot wounds. They were later pronounced dead at the scene, and the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
