Jason Humphrey, Senior Deputy Jason Humphrey of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado has sadly passed away. Jason died following an accident. The tragic accident occurred On February 21, 2024 on Highway 85 as he was returning home from his duties.

U.S. Law Enforcement shared on Facebook “It is with profound sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Senior Deputy Jason Humphrey of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado. On February 21, 2024, Senior Deputy Humphrey tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on Highway 85 as he was returning home from his duties.
Senior Deputy Humphrey leaves behind a legacy of bravery, dedication, and service. A loving husband and father, he dedicated over two decades of his life to serving the people of Adams County with utmost integrity and commitment. His journey of service began in the United States Marine Corps, where he served for six years and attained the rank of Sergeant. His dedication to our country continued with four years in the Air Force Reserves, followed by over 18 years with the United States Army National Guard. Within the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Senior Deputy Humphrey was a vital part of various divisions, including Jail, Patrol, K-9, and Professional Standards, bringing his bold personality and servant’s heart to every role he undertook.
The loss of Senior Deputy Jason Humphrey is a profound blow to our law enforcement family and the community he served. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues during this time of immense grief. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
