Authorities are investigating after at least two people were injured after shooting in Cape Girardeau. The incident happened Tuesday afternoon, February 27. Law enforcement officers and emergency crew responded to the scene in reference to the shooting.
According to Patrolman Bobby Newton with the Cape Girardeau Police Department, Two people were found suffering from gunshot wound. No word on their condition at this time.
Police are at the CVS Pharmacy on William St. and across the street where a convenience store where a convenience store is being built.
Police say William Street is closed in both directions from Kingshighway to Hardees.
