Authorities have identified the Rhode Island and Massachusetts residents who died in an apparent murder-suicide. They were identified as 24-year-old Loren Marino of Haverhill, and 24-year-old Austin Amaral of North Providence, Rhode Island
According to authorities, they were found dead at a residence at 195 Broadway on Sunday when police were called to perform a welfare check at approximately 5:45 p.m. Officers found them with severe gunshot wound.
Both were found with fatal gunshot wounds. Marino leaves behind family, friends, and two dogs that family members are trying to rehome.
Will Nikki Lang shared on social media – “Absolutely devastated to have to write about the passing of my little cousin Loren Marino. Her life was tragically cut short by the hands of a coward. She will be remembered for her strong, goofy, independent personality that everyone knew and loved. She will be missed everyday. Our family will forever be incomplete.”
This investigation is ongoing and the reason for the murder suicide is unknown. Additional information will be made available as this investigation develops.
