Authorities are investigating after a man and woman were found dead from a suspected murder-suicide at a South Miami apartment complex Thursday afternoon, according to police.
The tragic incident around noon at the Red Road Commons complex at Red Road and Levante Avenue.
According to news release, the man is in his 60s, and the woman, in her 50s, were in a romantic relationship. It’s not clear if they were married. Authorities haven’t yet said who they believe killed whom.
This investigation is ongoing and the reason for the murder suicide is unknown. Both South Miami and Miami-Dade police officers remained at the scene investigating into the afternoon. Additional information will be made available as this investigation develops.
