Jarvon Coles, North Shore High School football player died after being found unresponsive at a party with a gunshot wound Saturday night. The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on Fieldwick Lane near the Forest Shadows community in Humble, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were conducting a welfare check after they received reports of underage drinking at a short-term rental property. Deputies arrived and found 50-60 people inside the property and called for more units.
Deputies arrived at the location and they were Jarvon Coles, was having a seizure in the rear of the residence, so they immediately attempted CPR.
While doing CPR, deputies discovered a gunshot wound in Coles’ chest. Coles was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS after they arrived. Before long, he was declared deceased.
It appears that the gunman or shooters “intentionally shot” from roughly a block distance toward the house party, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. According to him, the suspects drove away from the site.
