Suffolk County officers are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Mount Sinai early this morning. The incident happened in the parking lot of 164 Route 25A in Mount Sinai.
According to report, the shooting took place following an altercation between two men, who are known to each other. The victim, identified as a 35-year-old man, sustained injuries from the gunshot and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The victims condition has not been disclosed.
